Brad Olson

Brad is founder and President of Oak Tree Financial Services, LLC in Brookfield, WI. He is responsible for all facets of running the investment and financial planning firm.

Prior to Oak Tree Financial, Brad spent 6 years at a large Milwaukee investment house as its Senior Vice President of Business Development. He managed and developed the business plans of 12 advisors, who managed over $2 billion dollars in assets.

Brad spent the majority of his earlier career with US Bank, previously Firstar/First Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He held positions as National Sales Manager, Regional Director and Senior Trust Officer. During his 19 years at the bank, he was an integral part of establishing and building the retail investment and insurance program.

He hired and supervised 10 Regional Managers who laid the foundation for the current US Bank investment advisory program. He also managed sales of new business for the trust area of Firstar, where his new business officers tripled client relationships.

Brad graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in marketing and finance. In 1994, he also completed his Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

He has been a featured columnist for 50 Plus News Magazine and has been host of the “Financial Wellness” radio program.

Brad is married to Karen, a middle school teacher, with whom he has two children; the family lives in the Waukesha, Wisconsin area. His hobbies and interests include running, golf, church activities and he serves on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Waukesha. As a long distance runner, he has completed the Disney World half marathon with his daughter for a decade and plans to do so as long his he is able.
